Wendy’s 3 Tour Challenge PGA Team Announced
The Wendy’s 3-Tour Challenge has been going strong for 18 years now and they have raised more than $30 million for the Dave Thomas Foundation for Adoption. This foundation was created back in 1992 with a vision that all children should have a permanent home and a loving family to care for them. They focus on increasing foster care adoption awareness and they also support model adoption service programs.
The PGA Tour team members have just been announced and they are Dustin Johnson, Bubba Watson and Boo Weekly. This will be Johnson’s first time to play in the Wendy’s 3-Tour Challenge and he has already enjoyed a fantastic season so far this year. He has had seven top 10 finishes and we are looking forward to seeing how he does.
Watson is one of the young stars of the team and this will be his third time to play the Wendy’s 3-Tour Challenge. It is his second time in a row as a member of the PGA Tour team. He has had four top 10 finishes so far this year.
The third member of the team is Boo Weekley and this will be his first time to play the Wendy’s 3-Tour Challenge. He has had three top 10 finishes so far this year.
It has also been announced that Wendy’s 3-Tour Challenge has partnered with the Golf Channel for a three year relationships which will see the Golf Channel become the events exclusive television partner. This partnership will allow for a fully integrated Golf Channel platform and this will include the Wendy’s 3-Tour Challenge telecast, The Golf Fix featuring Michael Breed on the Wendy’s 3-Tour Challenge and some Golf Central Segments too. They will also feature on the Golf Channel website. The televised broadcast of the Wendy’s 3-Tour Challenge will be aired during the week of December 6th 2010.
It really is going to be an exciting year for the Wendy’s 3-Tour Challenge and with a television partnership for the next three years with the Golf Channel it is definitely one to watch. More information as to the other players this year will be announced as the date draws nearer.
